Will is founder of TC Farnell Clarke, one of the first 100% cloud-based firms globally way back on 2009. Will is also co-founder of App Advisory Plus and author of The Digital Firm and the more recent book The Human Firm published by Sage in 2023. Will is a respected speaker and mentor to accounting firms globally.

Paul joined Dext with 20+ years in practice where he was a partner heading up the cloud accounting offering. ACCA qualified since 2003 Paul led the firms MTD and digital strategy, and provided support on digitalisation to accountants & bookkeepers across the country as well as providing solutions to clients’ challenges and supporting them to achieve their goals across accountancy, taxation and business advisory services.

Paul Aplin OBE - MTD and UK Tax Specialist Consultant

Paul is currently president of CIOT and is a former president of ICAEW. He was for 40 years in practice in an independent west country firm. He is a member of HMRC’s Administrative Burdens Advisory Board, an Independent Adviser to HMRC’s Closing the Tax Gap Committee and a member of the IFS Tax Law Review Committee. He is an adviser to Dext and is a regular commentator on tax and technology issues.
