You can now submit receipts and invoices to Dext directly through WhatsApp — without using the Dext mobile app. Simply share files in a chat with Dext, and items will flow straight into the Costs inbox. This feature is perfect for clients who don’t want to take the additional step of signing into the app.
Get the exact data you need, faster. This feature was hotly requested, so we were more than happy to develop it to make your working life easier! You can now tailor default cost exports per client, which will save you time on manual edits after exporting.
Find it in Business settings > Exports > CSV Exports.
Transaction cleanup helps improve reporting accuracy by ensuring QuickBooks Online transactions are categorised and coded correctly when using the Data Health and Insights feature.
Uncategorised transactions: Displays transactions posted to the system-created “Uncategorised” account. These likely need to be reviewed and properly coded.
Parent-coded transactions: Shows transactions coded to parent-level accounts when sub-accounts exist. Updating these improves reporting and keeps your chart of accounts tidy.
Transactions without a contact: Lists transactions missing a customer or supplier. Filling in this info is key to better AP/AR tracking and reporting.
